Re: HAMRADIO_LY: Geriausi palinkejimai LY5W.

Labas

parasyti ir as savo komentara i sia tema su visomis pateiktomis foto.
neatlaikes atatampos trukimo smugio luzo stiebas ties apatine sekcija.
darbams atstatant…. daugiausia nukentejo KLMas bet is dvieju viena
nes daug laiko ateme visi tvirtinimu gaminimai…

Kaip sakoma is klaidu mokomes dabar teks paciam perdaryti pagal save visas
atatmpas….

prieki ir kuo maziau verkslenti o tuo labiau pulti i alkoholi jame nerasi

3B7, ST. BRANDON ISLAND. Ron, K5XK, updates OPDX that Rachid, 3B8FQ,
will leave Mauritius by boat on Tuesday, August 11th, enroute for St.
Brandon (AF-015). Rachid will operate solo as 3B7FQ from August 12th
through the end of the month–and possibly a few extra days in early
September. Look for him on all bands, 30-10 meters, although Rachid
expects 40 and 20 meters to be most productive. He will use both CW
and SSB, as conditions allow. As in Rachid’s earlier travels to 3B6
and 3B7, operating time will be shared with his primary mission of
performing maintenance on the island’s meteorological equipment. He
expects to use the island’s G5RV and a vertical with a 100 watt trans-
ceiver powered by a 12 volt battery that will be charged daily. Rachid
likes to use “the 8s” whenever possible on CW. Here are his anticipated
frequencies:
CW - 7008, 10108, 14008, 18078, 21008, 24898 and 28008 kHz
SSB - 7050, 14191, 18141, 21241, 24941 and 28491 kHz

If future plans come together, Rachid may operate from 3B9 sometime
after his return and hopes to operate from 3B6 again in November. QSL
via K5XK, direct preferred.

3D2/C, CONWAY REEF (Update). Jan, DJ8NK, informs OPDX this past week
that they have added one more operator to the crew. Uwe, DJ9HX, is the
new added operator. Now with the fourth operator they will be able to
run 4 stations simultaneously in order to serve the pile-up. They have
also announced their callsign for the operation - 3D20CR. The callsign
of this DXpedition was issued to commemorate a DXpedition 20 years ago
when DK9KX as organizer and leader of a crew, which included today’s
member DJ9ON, visited this island for the first activation ever. The
DXpedition is still looking for sponsors. The total amount of the operation
is estimated at 64.000 USDs. For details/updates and on how to donate
funds for this operation, please visit their Web page at:
www.conwayreef2009.de

CQ NEWS. A press release by Richard Moseson, W2VU, Editor of CQ Amateur
Radio, dated August 4th, states: “2008 CQ World Wide CW Contest Marks
Major Milestone for K0DQ Becomes Possibly the Only Person Ever to Win
All Six Major Ham Radio Contests — Scott Redd, K0DQ, operating the 2008
CW weekend of the CQ World Wide DX Contest from Aruba as P40Q, racked up
over a million more points than his closest competitor in the Single-
Operator Low Power Class, and became perhaps the only person ever to win
single-op world championships in all six major Ham Radio DX contests.
‘I don’t know of anyone else’ who has won all the major contests, said
CQWW Contest Director Bob Cox, K3EST, in announcing the results, which
will be published in the September issue of ‘CQ’ magazine.
Scott had his first taste of contest victory back in 1966, as a young
Navy officer posted to Uruguay and operating CX2CO in the phone weekend
of the CQ World Wide DX Contest. Over the succeeding years, Scott worked
his way through the Navy ranks to Vice Admiral and became Commander of
the Fifth Fleet, then served as a civilian in the Iraq Coalition
Provisional Authority and as Director of the National Counter terrorism
Center before retiring in late 2007. But Ham Radio and contesting were
never far away, and operating from Mexico as XE1IIJ in the early 1970s,
Scott won single-op world championships in the CQWW Phone Contest, the
ARRL DX Phone and CW Contests and the CQ WPX Phone Contest. Thirty years
later, when his professional life permitted a little more hamming time,
Scott added the WPX CW crown as P41P, operating from P43P’s station in
Aruba, in 2002. The only prize that eluded him — until now — was the
CQWW CW.
‘I’ve been trying like a son-of-a-gun to win (the) CQ World Wide CW,’
Scott commented in a 2008 interview with ‘CQ’. ‘I’ve come in number two,
I’ve come in number three, but I’ve never won that one…. so that’s
still my goal, every time I get close, in CQ World Wide CW, to win the
world.’
When informed that he had finally achieved that goal, K0DQ said, ‘I
guess the message is if you keep at it long enough good things happen.
In this case, four decades. It’s been a great ride … and it’s still
magic!’
CQ congratulates Scott — already a member of the CQ Amateur Radio
Hall of Fame, for his contesting achievements on top of all his other
achievements.”

to celebrate the Galloways Society for the Blind’s “25th Anniversary of
the Cross Bay Walk” led by Queen’s Guide Cedric Robinson MBE. The walk

the bay that have taken many lives over the years. The first appointment
was in 1536. Cedric, who is the 25th appointed Queen’s Guide to the Sands
and local fisherman, has been leading the walks since 1963. The special
callsigns to listen out for are:

part of the walk.

and can be used if anybody becomes too exhausted or ill during
the walk.

the stations. To obtain a certificate, send an A4 SAE and a check for

on the peak day of August 12th. The Web site is reporting that, “According
to NASA’s Meteoroid Environment Office, a filament of comet dust has
drifted across Earth’s path, and when Earth passes through it sometime
between 0800-0900z (1-2 am PDT) on August 12th, the Perseid meteor rate
could surge to twice its normal value. Check
for details and observing tips.” The peak hourly rate could reach 200

WFF ACTIVITY………………..
(Update) Plamen, LZ3FM, plans to activate the Biosphere Reserve Kamchia
(LZFF-011) during his holiday between August 11-18th. Callsign to be
used will be LZ02WFF, not LZ01WFF/2. Equipment will be IC-746 plus a
4-band GP and dipole antennas. Activity will be on HF + 6m, mainly CW
with some SSB. QSL via LZ1PJ, direct or by the Bureau. E-mail requests
for Bureau cards are accepted ( via lz1pj[kringelis]bfra[taskas]org ). Write QSO details
and callsign worked, since Ivan, LZ1PJ, manages other callsigns too.
PLEASE NOTE: LZ01WFF is used for activation for other WFF references
by other operators. Ivan, LZ1PJ, will manage this activation only. For
other activations listen to operator’s instructions.

WFF enthusiasts (5 to 10 operators), plan to activate the Biosphere
Reserve “Steneto” (LZFF-017) in the National Park “Central Balkan”
(LZFF-001) between August 20-24th. Activity will be on all HF bands,
as well as 6m and 2m, using CW and SSB from mountain hut “Dermenka”
- 1504 meters A.S.L. (Grid Locator: KN22IR). QSL via LZ1ZF.

XR0, EASTER ISLAND. An international team of operators will be active as
XR0YA from Rapa Nui between October 31st and November 15th. This will be
a lite and small DXpedition with 6 operators. Operators mentioned are:
Marco/CE6TBN, Leszek/NI1L, Aart/PA3C Zbig/SP7HOV, Stan/SQ8X and Victoria/
SV2KBS. Although Easter Island is no longer among the “100 Top Most Wanted
DXCC Entities”, it is still most wanted on some bands such as 30 meters
and any activity on this band is very seldom due to a fact a special,
temporary license submitted by Chilean Ministry of Telecommunication is
obligatory. The group has obtained a license for all bands, and they
decided to dedicate their DXpedition to 30 meters (CW section only! Digi-
modes on 30m are not allowed in Chile), and 160, 80 and 40 meters. The
group thanks the support from “Radio Club de Chile” to help obtain and
have this unique opportunity to activate Rapa Nui on 30 meters. A QSL
route has not been announced yet, but it will be shortly. They plan to
use an “Online QSL Request System” (OQRS) for direct requests and also
the standard QSLing via direct and bureau options. Their logs will be
uploaded to the LoTW after the DXpedition after some period of time.
They will NOT nor plan to use eQSL. For more details and update, visit
the XR0YA Web site at: rapanui2009.org

3D2/C, CONWAY REEF (Update). Jan, DJ8NK, informs OPDX that based on the
crew that activated Chesterfield Island as TX9 some years back, Hawa,
DK9KX, as team leader, has formed a new crew which will operate from
Conway Reef during the period of October 1-10th, 2009, plus/minus due
to weather conditions. Hans, DL6JGN, the leader of 3D2CR crew, who
operated from the island 20 years ago, will also join Hawa’s team. As of
press time, the team consists of the following: Norbert/DJ7JC, Jan/DJ8NK,
Dieter/DJ9ON, Heye/DJ9RR, Hawa/DK9KX, Hans/DL6JGN and Ron/PA3EWP. The
callsign will be announced at the starting date. Activity will be on
160-6 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK. QSL Manager is DJ8NK QSL direct
or by the Bureau. PLEASE NOTE: New IRCs are “OK”, but old IRCs with
expiration date December 31st, 2009, are not “OK”, because QSL cards
most likely will be sent out in January 2010. A Web page will be active
soon at: www.conwayreef2009.de

4W, TIMOR-LESTE. Chris, 4W6FR, works for the Australian Armed Forces and
is stationed in Timor-Leste periodically. He has finally been given
permission to operate and has his license in hand now. He has begun
operating but only operates as time permits outside of his work hours.
It seems he really likes working PSK, especially on 20 and 17 meters.
There has been some QSNs reported on 20 meters SSB. Most of his activity
takes place between 0900-1300z. QSL via VK4FW, direct or the OQRS at:
www.odxg.org

5V, TOGO. Franco, I1FQH, will be active as 5V7PRF from Kpalime between
July 22-30th. This will be a very light DXpedition with activity on 80-10
meters using mostly CW and some SSB (no Digital modes or 6m). He will
use 100 watts into a Spiderbeam for 20/17/15m as well as a vertical and
wire dipoles for the other bands. QSL via I1FQH, LoTW, eQSL or Bureau.
Look for updates on QRZ.com or twitter.com/i1fqh

term mission work. (See: www.410bridge.org) He informs OPDX that
he will be in the Kwambekenya village located about 3-4 hours north of
Nairobi. He is involved in several different projects including a video
project and demonstrating amateur radio in the local high school. He
hopes to be active for some DXing in the late evenings and early mornings
local time. He has an IC-706 MKII, a “Beam in a Bag” and a dipole for
30/40m. This is definitely not a DXpedition and operating time is limited.

7P, LESOTHO (Update). A group of international operators will be operating
from Lesotho starting July 29th through August 13th. They will be operating
with the equipment supplied by African DX Safari in Johannesburg. The

They will have 2 stations on most of the time and might have a 3rd for
PSK and RTTY. Activity will be on all bands and they hope to work as
many of you on 160/80 meters. They will have a 70 foot vertical which
works great on those bands. For 40, they will have a 4 sq. dipole setup
on one of the towers. Two trailers with towers will have Tennadayne T8
LogP antennas at about 55 feet. For 30 meters a sloper off one tower
will be used. Also, a M2 6 meter beam will be up as well. QSL via each

DX SUMMIT (SOON READY FOR 2-WAY COMMUNICATION WITH OVER 110,000 MONTHLY
USERS — www.dxsummit.fi/dxspots.aspx ): The OH8X Team reports:
“The Radio Arcala DX Summit portal is celebrating the milestone of one
million monthly hits over a course of several months and more than 110,000
people spending an average of 35 minutes on the site daily. The top five
nations using the service are as follows:

USA (28.5%) followed by Germany, United Kingdom, Italy and Japan. In
total, users from 170 DXCC countries have entered the service portal.
With new visits approaching 19% during the month of May, an increase of
users is quite evident.

In the process of making the DX Summit service more focused on younger
user segments and non-amateur radio population, two features have been
added recently.

Each spotting and spotted callsign is automatically linked to QRZ.COM,
providing a more human link to the personal profiles of people and to
their pictures. Just click the callsigns and you will automatically enter
the relevant QRZ.COM page. Additionally, each line carries the name of
the DXCC country spotted.

In a few months time, custom selected filters will be provided to the
public allowing users to receive personalized spots that they would like
to receive. While initially the selected spots will be sent to your
personal email address, the ultimate aim is to offer an SMS (short
message service) option to DX Summit users.

This service is a non-profit exercise for Radio Arcala, OH8X but we
are pleased to recognize Yasme Foundation and Nokia Corporation for their
support of further development and defrayment of operating expenses of
the portal. As the servers are in the hands of a professional service
provider in the United States, some interruptions are recorded and
changing the service provider is in process.

Also, a Help Desk for regular users and for S/W developers is being set
up. Here it is suggested that DX Summit open a channel for accepting
voluntary donations to keep the Help Desk operational. On a trial basis,
through PayPal, DX Summit accepts donations and, additionally, following
a donation of 10 USD or 10 EUR, Radio Arcala will send you a full-color
Radio Arcala wall calendar postpaid. This option is valid only for the
months of July and August. www.dxsummit.fi/donate.aspx

We thank you for your support of and interest in Radio Arcala DX Summit.”

G & GM, ENGLAND AND SCOTLAND. The RSGB will be represented in the IARU
HF Championship by GB7HQ from two separate DXCC entities this year (G,GM).
The contest runs July 11-12th. G3LZQ is handling special certificates
for those working GB7HQ:
* Bronze award - contact GB7HQ on three band/modes
* Silver award - contact GB7HQ on six band/modes
* Gold award - contact GB7HQ on nine band/modes
* Platinum award - contact GB7HQ on all twelve band/modes
Further details of the award can be found at:
www.gb7hq.com/Award-Info.html
When you contact one operator, he can give you the frequency of the next
GB7HQ station to work to assist in making contacts for the awards. QSL are
being handled by G3TXF: direct, bureau, or LoTW. Full details of the
station hosts, locations, operators, WAB squares and grid locators can
be found at: www.gb7hq.com/2009/2009-Ops-List.html

Re: HAMRADIO_LY: Zaviuosi Rolando LY2FY/LY4A darbu.

svarbi tolesneje derinimo stadijoje.
Esu pagamines nemazai antenu ,dar vaikysteje kai UP1BYK buvusioje UK2BCM
www.ly4a.com/?page_id=55&pid=529 kurie isbuvo iki artimaiusio
uragano :).Ar 3el yagio 40m www.ly4a.com/?page_id=55&pid=536 kuri
keliant i 12m stiebo auksti virs pastato 46m nebesilaikius lyksvaros teko
paleisti zemyn :) luzus bumui.
Taigi pasikeitus tiek seimininems aplinkybems tiek gyvenimo vietai viska
Mazeikiuose teko isardyti pries metus nes jau kelmes rajone KO15MS WAL E13
derinimas turi savo zavesio.
uzima pastangu ji isslaikyti toki koks buna pasiektas uzbaigus statyba.
procentu antenu ukio…

Visiems kantrybes ir stiprybes siame sunkiame kelyje :)
